Export & watermark

Exporting renders the timeline to an MP4 with audio and cuts intact.

Running an export

Use Export in the timeline toolbar. Give it a name, start it, and it renders in the background — you can leave the page. Finished exports appear in the Exports panel, where they can be downloaded or deleted.

Exports do not cost credits. The generations that produced the footage already did.

What gets rendered

• Every clip on the timeline, in order, with its trims.
• Embedded clip audio, unless you muted that cut.
• Everything on your audio tracks, at the volumes you set.

Markers, notes and canvas content are not rendered — they are production tools.

The free-plan watermark

Images and videos made on the Free plan carry a filmera.ai watermark. Paid plans do not.

The watermark is applied when the file is produced, so it belongs to that file: upgrading later removes it from new work, not from files that already exist. Regenerate a shot after upgrading to get a clean version.

When an export fails

The two common causes are a clip whose media is missing, and a timeline long enough for the render to time out. The message says which. Nothing is charged either way, so retrying costs nothing.
