About this template
Every reference sheet is tied back to one user-supplied photograph of a formation, which each prompt treats as the single source of truth for gear, color, material and light. The prompts describe the kit closely: rounded helmets in a dull grey-bronze with banded sides, flared neck guards and no crests; cloaks of dark petrol-blue wool; dark leather over muted scale armor; long tan spears with narrow leaf-shaped heads; and worn round shields faced with bronze. That shared description is repeated on the character sheet for NIKOS the hoplite, the Shield & Spear prop sheet and the Shield Roof Underside sheet, so every shot inherits the same look. All four reference image nodes were generated with GPT Image 2.5 Flare at 2K in a 4:3 frame.
The Distant Plain sheet is an environment plate made by asking the model to strip every soldier, shield and spear out of the source photo. The prompt keeps the dusty compacted ground, scattered stones and low brown ridges, matching the original ridge line and muted palette. It also asks for wide open ground so a full formation can later be placed on it. Lighting is held to soft layered overcast and haze, with an explicit instruction against invented blue skies or heavy grading, which gives the raw, slightly flat documentary feel seen in the final video.
Duplicate the template and replace the formation photograph with your own reference, then regenerate the four sheets so the character, props, landscape and shield-roof view all follow your new look. Edit the equipment and color descriptions in each prompt to match your soldiers, product or setting. The first-person shots of marching, raising the shield under a volley and pressing forward are then animated from these references with Seedance 2.5. Arrange the clips on the timeline and export to mp4 or FCPXML for further editing.
